School culture is the deeper pattern of shared beliefs, values, expectations, relationships, and ways of working that shapes how things tend to be done in a school over time. A simple way to distinguish it from school climate is to think of culture as the school’s more enduring character, while climate is the day-to-day experience of being there. This page brings together resources for people interested in how school culture can support young people’s Presence, Participation, Progress, and Preparedness for adulthood – including through belonging, relationships, family partnership, supportive responses to attendance difficulties, and coherent school-wide practice. The collection begins with resources connected with the School Culture symposium and workshop at the 2026 INSA Conference in Alicante, and we hope it will continue to grow through contributions from practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and others working in this area.
