Katarina Alanko currently works as a senior researcher at the Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics, developing scalable solutions for school delivered mental health programs. She has been involved in research on school attendance for several years.
Earlier Johanna Sergejeff has been involved in developing online teaching opportunities for students who are unable to attend school. From 2021 to 2023, she coordinated a project focused on student attendance at the Ministry of Education and Culture. Currently she works at the University of Jyväskylä and is conducting doctoral research on the monitoring of absenteeism.
