Join the INSA Emerging Scholars Subcommittee for our next Virtual Café, in which we welcome Dr. Gil Keppens and Yali Horta from the INSA Executive to discuss how to prepare a strong proposal for an international conference.

The Emerging Scholars Committee is delighted to welcome Dr. Gil Keppens from the INSA Executive Board and Scientific Committee, and Yali Horta from the INSA Executive Board to discuss submitting proposals to the INSA Conference. In this session, we will discuss the types of abstracts being sought, how to present a strong abstract, common issues with abstracts, and tips for increasing the likelihood of your abstract being accepted. With the conference being both international and interdisciplinary in nature, guidance will be provided to support applications grounded in both research and practice. Opportunities will be provided for interactive questions and answers.

In addition, participants are invited to submit a draft of their abstract prior to the session for the opportunity to receive live feedback on their draft during the session. Due to time restrictions, it may not be possible to provide feedback on all draft abstracts received.
