Networking, knowledge, and know-how for everyone passionate about school attendance and engagement:
Hotel Zuiderduin is just steps away from the promenade, restaurants, even a lighthouse. Cheese town Alkmaar (‘small Amsterdam’) is around the corner, and Amsterdam only a 40-minute drive. Pack a swimsuit for the pool (or the North Sea if you dare) and brush up on your ten-pin bowling skills for the inaugural ‘international challenge’.
Malin is a founding member of INSA, editor of the research anthology on School Attendance Problems, and making waves in Swedish policy on school attendance.
Anne Marie is co-author of a parent workbook and therapist guide for school attendance problems, TEDMED presenter, and co-author of You and Your Anxious Child.
Jayne is founder of the School Avoidance Alliance, initiator of Stigma-Free, mental health advocate in New Jersey USA, and co-chair of her town’s mental health taskforce.
Martin is a founding member of INSA, developer of the Inventory for School Attendance Problems, and making waves in Germany to increase youth engagement in intervention.
Catriona is making waves in Ireland, increasing trauma-awareness, weaving psychological theory with critical pedagogy perspectives, and establishing the future of school-based mental health promotion.
The International Network for School Attendance (INSA) promotes school attendance and responds to school attendance problems. We compile, generate, evaluate, and disseminate information, assessment, and intervention strategies.
